Hey guys! new to the site but I'm glad I found some people other than me who like third gens. I'm currently building a 1984 Trans Am, trying to get all the body work done before I get back to school. It'll be my third year, as I already graduated with a degree in autobody and paint, and I'm now going for auto tech, and for that I need a project car. Back to the car. All the hard parts just got finished. It had the typical "man this car's in pretty good shape...oh crap, look at the floor" problems. As I tore deeper I found more rust and got to patching, first the floor and then the exterior. Well its all patched, and now I'm going to sand the car and and do all the filler work and hopefully start priming next week. It'll be a 5.3 build (I know, ANOTHER one) but i just bought a book with all the the tips and tricks of LS builds, and I'm hoping to bore the block, get a new cam, and some L92 heads, along with other things of course. I'll keep you guys posted! hoping to update as often as possible!
