4inch cowl vs 6 inch cowl
4inch cowl vs 6 inch cowl
i have a tunnel ram motor i am wanting to put in an 85 camaro. I still want it under the hood but 4 inch cowl hood will be really close fit and 6 inch will be more than enough. Only thing is i dont see alot of cars with the 6inch cowl on them to see the 4vs6 inch difference. Could you guys post pics of your cars with the cowl hoods? ( btw i will be purchasing my hood from harwood..their stuff is nice!)

Re: 4inch cowl vs 6 inch cowl
Imo anything bigger than 3 is going to hamper visibility on the street, go with the smallest size that will fit imo. Daytonas are 2.5" I think, and even mine hampers visibility a tad, also it takes some getting used to, but idk that I would EVER get used to one as big as a 6" cowl, they are pretty extreme, on a track car sure go for it, but street car, esp if dd you will probably regret it, weekend toy you might live with it, but really, get the 4" if it will fit.
