Question on RA II(WS6) hood Vent Grilles

So im getting one of the RA II hoods over winter. The hood does not come with the grilles. The grilles separately are about 60 dollars on ebay. So i was wondering if i could just take out the vents from my Trans Am hood and use the grilles on those? I mean after cutting them down and all of that good stuff. I have extra vents in my tool box anyways. Would it need teeth? Or could i just simply put some Gorilla glue on the top and bottom and stick it in? I just mean a dab not a whole lot. Thanks guys

They're longer than 3rd gen vents. You can buy some generic mesh and make you're own if that's your thing though. Attach them via drywall or other coarse screw directly into the small fiberglass tabs

Personally Id wait for a wrecked 4th gen WS6 hood to pop up and snag the vents from them
