getting rid of t tops
I have a t top car that needs new floorpans because of the leaks. I could seal the tops and fix the pans, but I honestly want a hardtop car again.. i dont like t tops on the thirdgens. Is there a way to fill in the top portions without replacing the whole roof? I was thinking that this would give me even more structural enforcement than a true hardtop car would have. Thoughts?!

im sure you could get creative and graft the section from ahardtop car in, but IDK if it would be any "easier" than swapping teh whole roof.
FWIW, solid rollers are cheap, you could always save yourself the headache of the floor pan and roof job by just using different chassis and swapping your good parts over.

probably cheaper and easier to just get a hard top roller....

Now their is a different project. The amount of work grafting in steel panels would be a lot. Also I wouldn't think the use of much bondo would be a good idea because of the normal flexing these cars do. I'd say a solid roller with a good top.
