its lasted a year well worth the money already. ANd like i said not difficult to remove..someone lazy or someone who hasnt done it says that. Just have the door jams left to sand. I found bondo from a previous owner that I didn't know existed till last week.. I've got all the rust spots ground down to metal but they flash rust very quickly so I need a solid day to resand them. Then I have SEM Solve to clean the car with and after that the metal spots are getting treated with Ospho (had to search for days and drive 22 miles to get it). Ospho is supposed to set overnight and then it gets wire brushed and canned self etch primer goes over the metal. Then it's on to filler and primer.... WOW...I thought I was closer to painting before I typed all that.

Your wasting your time rattle canning/rolling ... I thought about this but then just bought a spray guy and 24.95 a quart autozone duplicolor paint. I used a very worn out 3hp 15 gallon compressor and 32.95 paint gun.

Maybe I need to start a new thread. I'm not rattle canning it. I've decided against it. I have an HVLP turbine sprayer I'm using. The only rattle can thing I'm doing is the self etch primer on the few metal spots I have sanded down. I was going to use that Paint Shop stuff originally but this thread had so much info against the lacquer stuff that I've decided to use a single stage black urethane paint.

I will say that your vette came out great. It looks like there's no orange peal at all.

hood/doors/are white replacements which is why they don't match but from doors back and front bumper I painted to get it one color for time being.
