crackled bumper cover
How do I best deal with crackle effect on my bumper covers? Getting ready to paint and not sure if I can use bondo, fiberglass filler, or do I have only the option of buying new ones to do it right?

Bondo/fibrglass will just de-laminate later on, ruining your new paint job.Best to get new/better repalcements.

Sand past the damage, (120-220 grit). As you get close to being past the damage start stepping up grits in 100 grit intervals with your final sanding being about 500-600 grit. No glaze (filler) should be needed. If needed "Evercoat Flexible Glaze" can be used.

Re: crackled bumper cover
My body shop wont repair them, need to get one with no cracks and hopefully one coat of paint. The reason he wont is,it's what the bumper covers are made off, nothing sticks to it to do a proper job.You can get a new after market one from Classic,I'd wait till they have another 20% off sale, that's what I did.
