Axle/Gears: 3.47 02 SS rear end
Door wont stay closed?
Something is broke inside my door... the latch seems to have no tension on it and will just swing open. What do i do!! Can i simply swap in a junkyard latch? Help me please!

Probably the latch.Somewhere along the way GM changed the 3 torx screws from counter sunk to non-countersunk.Around 87-88.Just check yours first before buying.
