See the attached picture. There is a sizable gap between the hood and front end despite everything appearing to be lined up for the hood. All bolts have been inserted and tightened for the front end. Anyone know how to go about adjusting this?

 

I just put a new hood on mine and found the same thing, Except my gap was much larger. Car had run under a suburban and bent up the hood and some brackets that attach from the upper radiator support to the bumper cover.

I replaced the brackets with some I found at a scrap yard and it closed up the gap considerably, but I still have a crack in my headlight frame which is causing the nose to sag just a bit still....

Judging by the picture it looks to me like you could get the front corners at least 1/8" down further. The latch has some play to lower it down and of course the black stops on either side of the hood could screw down a bit.

On my latch I had to grind the washer down on one side so I could get it a little lower. Hard to explain unless your looking at it but see if you can loosen and get it to drop down.

As said before a droopy bumper will cause this too so check for cracks in the mounts or a broken header panel ect.

The hood latch is all the way down and the rubber stops are as well. I think it's something sagging in the front end that I'd like to get corrected. We'll take a look at the mounts you suggest.
