Does anyone know if this has ever been done? I really like the look of the z28 spoiler and I think it could look pretty neat if someone where to take the time to do it right. I know bluezee (I think) did something similar with his vert. What do you guys think?

What do you mean? Putting the High Wing spoiler on top of the stock dovetail?

That exactly what I mean. Now that I thought about it more maybe it wont look as good as I first thought.Originally Posted by _Nick_

That looks real good! I like it!!!

What I had in mind would involve cuttting a notch in the back of the high rise wing so it litterally sits on top of the ducktail. But carlos's is pretty close to that. I may have to do it one day.
Please don't! One spoiler looks fine, but when you start stacking and throwing them together, you might as well buy VTEC stickers and put those on the car. It really ruins the look of a car designed to have one or the other but not both!

If I wanted to do that then I would put a high rise on top of a high rise.Originally Posted by scottmoyer

Why not simply remove the dovetail?

because it leaves really nasty holes that are hard to fill.
I guess this would work on a car with the 3rd brake light that wasn't in the spoiler.
I have to admit it looks better than I thought it would, but it's still not something I would do

when i bought my rs like 6 years ago it has both on it looks alot better than the one above the high rise isnt in front of the little one the little one has cutouts in it so the high one sits all the way back. im not sure who did it or what one was on first but ill try to get a pic up.

Thats how my 92 was before I worked on it. My father said thats how they came from the factory..
Word of advice, dont do this. Its a pain to patch up the holes from the original spoiler. So I just took off the hi-rise.

This 92 is long gone for those wondering.
