I feel like my IQ fell after reading this haha. Also you posted in the wrong section. Are you asking what it will run in the 1/4 mile now? Ill say 16.1 if your lucky.

Re: How many HP´s won

just changing to a carb setup wont net you much power, especially if you haven't tuned the carb. 750 is too big for a 305, probably would get better response with something closer to 650. depending on the intake, you may get a couple hp, but a basic performer won't be much of a step up

Re: How many HP´s won

Did you put a 750cfm carb on a near stock 305?

I think that would hurt your horsepower.

Good point, it says he's from Mexico. In all fairness though, I would not expect any hp gains from these mods, assuming the TBI setup was running properly.

Re: How many HP´s won

^ If you want to carb it I would go after a 600cfm carb not a 750

Re: How many HP´s won

Throw on a 600cfm carb instead of the 750 and get some headers and decent exhaust and your car should def pick up some power.

Re: How many HP´s won

Sorry, I forgot to mention, that I used stainless steel headers 2.75" intake, and 3" exhaust, and all the exhaust pipes are 3", one more time thanks all of you, for your comments, I appreciate.

Re: How many HP´s won

For all of you that talked smack on the carb and intake cool but understand a properly tuned 750 can be amazing but it takes percision. and if he used a rpm performer series manifold hes capable of atleast 15.5...... I used to run an 850 DP on a edelbrock highrise bored 60 over and 3/4 roller cam eaton twin screw 10.3

Re: How many HP´s won

Oh sorry I missed your post on the headers... Your lacking back pressure go with the hooker shorty tubes... 1 5/8 tube with 3" collector or open it at the downpipe and put a reducer in.... If not you might just blow the valves out good luck
