My drivers side door handle is loose "rattles" My Dad said he would do it but is not sure he knows how. Can some one give us any helpful hints, thanks in advance!!!! Geni

 

there are 2 10mm or 11mm bolts on the back its either these or the springs in the actual handle is shot. Does the entire handle come loose from the door or just the handle part you lift up?

Either the spring in the handle is bad or on of the 2 speed nuts (that hold the
handle to the door skin) are loose.
You need to take the door panel off aan check it out.

Ok, thanks guys, he really didn't want to take the door panel off, but we did and got the parts needed. I love reading these articles because I find answers to other issues I am having. I LOVE this car, but gotta remember how old it is!!
