Possible to convert Firebird to Trans Am?

My local CL has someone parting out their 87 Trans Am, will the body parts fit onto a 85 Firebird to make it look like a Trans Am?

Yes, you need the bumpers front and rear. You also need the door molding and side skirts which will need holes drilled in the doors and rockers to mount. If I were you Id make a formula clone or alteast get the doors off the car being parted out so its a few less holes you have to deal with.I went from a 84 trans am to a 88 formula look. Im not sure how you are going to attach the rocker covers. Mine had braces spot welded to the body that I had to cut off and plug weld.
