Blocks for Sanding
I am getting closer to doing final preparations on the body for paint. That final prep will be the block sanding but I first need some blocks. Leave a reply letting me know which blocks you're using and where you got them.

Re: Blocks for Sanding
I use 3m blocks. They are free with a box of paper. I just checked out Dura blocks web page and noticed that they are starting to be compatable with 3m paper. Keep in mind what paper you would like to use, as generally most blocks (exept 3m) use stick on paper. Note: As of this month 3m hook it 2 is now obsolete.
I have one block that I cut out of a broom stick (lenth of a 6" DA sanding disk), it works great for tight curves.
Another trick for tight areas is to wrap a 6" DA around a scuff pad.
