Hi,
I am looking for a driver and passenger fender inner deflector I think it is called. Basically the plastic guard that clips under the fenders. Need them for an 82 Firebird.

I see some sites selling 82-84 inner Fender guards and 85-92 inner fender guards. Should these not be the same for 82-92 since the Fenders are the same or are they? Will an inner fender guard from an 88 for example fit on an 82. Are they all the same.

The more I search for parts the more confussing it gets.

 

 

I am looking for the same part, and from what I have found - I think they changed them in 1985. I have compared them to the ones on my 1989, and they look different. While they may work, I am certain that the later ones will not line up with the small spoilers on the early Trans ams.

 

Okay, Thanks for that. I need to find 82-84 Inner fender covers. Initally I tought they were the same for all years but now things just got a lot harder.
