lexan vs. glass
im looking for my next 1/10 , does anyone know what the stock glass weighs
front windshield , rear hatch glass.
i have yet to even try to look up info on the t-tops, off hand does anyone know how much weight can be saved if one were to go to lexan tops?

Re: lexan vs. glass
I have glass ones, and lexan would be awesome just because they would be so easy to transfer. Girls wanna help me take my ttops off, but they are always clumsy with them because of the weight though, scares me!

Re: lexan vs. glass
The lexan are at least HALF the weight. I have a set in the attic just because I thought they were unique. I can carry one t-top in hand and raise it in the air with no problem... I would say right at 8lbs.

Re: lexan vs. glass
I'm not sure about the windshield, but you would save probably 40 to 50 lbs by going to lexan for the rear hatch glass. Keep in mind that lexan will not break (like safety glass) in an accident and can cause extreme bodily harm or death if driven into the passenger compartment with enough force.
