Bumper support bolts

I was under my car and I noticed that a couple of the bumper support bolts were missing their nuts. The bolts where there are 4 on each side and I think they are studs coming off the support into the frame.

So what size are they I tried a few nuts but failed?

They look close to 5/16

Re: Bumper support bolts

Nope, they're bolts. Just pan-head bolts with the square fitting that goes into a hole on the bumper support so they don't spin when you wrench on the nuts. M8x1.25, IIRC. I have a box of short ones in the garage (broke 2 of them getting the nuts off), I'll look at it and let you know.
