What year did they put airbags on third gen camaros and did they????? (Secondly) anyone put 4th gen seat in thier car? How is the comfort level????

I got an airbag in my 92 Maro and it scares me to death! I keep thinking back when the airbags were new and were killing all those people. I wanna deactivate it.

 

Airbags debuted in '90, when they redesigned the instrument panel.

Talk to Brian K...he has put 4th gen seats in his '87 Camaro. I don't think they're THAT much more comfortable, but they do have better side bolsters...nicer for hard cornering.

If I was you, get some 4th gen Trans Am seats...the Pontiac seats have larger bolsters, and are more comfortable in my opinion.
