Rear Defroster Grid
Most of mine are not working also, after removing the "illegal" tint from the rear window... What a pain in the **** that was.
There's a repair kit you can get for these that your local Chevy dealer should carry. Basically what you'll need to do is determine where the breaks are in the lines (using a multimeter), mask where the breaks are and use a solder-like paste for the repair. I believe the kit also includes some sort of protective tape as well.

it could also just be the two little wires on each side of the hatch, check that first, they always get disconnected on mine, just plug 'em back in and go.

Yea i made the mistake of having someone strip my old tint and he riped out almost all the defrost lines. When i went to go pick the car up he gave me a few pieces of it and said "OOps Sorry man"
