I have an 86 Iroc Camaro that i have put a 91 92 ground fx on, and various other parts. I would like to know how i could put the dash out of a 91or92 into my car. What all parts and pieces would i need to make the sawp or is it possible?

Q. doesn't 91-92 have an electronic speedo?

Yes, the 90-91 speedo is electric, you can order a converter from JTR that will fit on the tranny and convert the mechanical to electric.
I did this swap a few months ago with my 89 Iroc, and put in a 92 dash. You have to do some rewiring with the gauge cluster and modify the two lower bolt holes on either side of the dash to fit the bracket on your car....
One thing you do need to find out though is what signal pulse your ECM needs, 2000 or 4000, the speedometer in the 92 dash I have needs a 4000 pulse and the ECM needs a 2000 pulse, which meant I needed the VSS buffer...

What all pieces out of the 91-92 did you need to get? I am going to order a gauge panel off the internet, but i'm going to the junkyard this thursday where there is a 91 z28. The gauges are gone, but the rest of the plastic is still there. This is another thing i need to know is should i grab all plastic around the gauges? and the wiring plug? by the way how much did the converter from jtr cost?

back from the dead. i have an '87 camaro and will be installing a '91 gage cluster when i do the t56 swap. do i need to get the electrical connectors from a '91 also, or can i modify the ones that are in my car now?
