When I turn on the heater is makes a noise that sounds like metal rubbing against metal. my friend's Chevelle did this and now his heatetr does not work at all. What is it and what should I do? Can I fix it myself? Thanks in Advance.

Sounds like the bearing in the blower motor has **** the bed... Easy to fix (replace blower motor)
