interior customizing
Ok guys I kind of have a strange question and many will say 'why' would you ever want to do that, but if you own a convertible you will understand why.
Does anyone have any suggestions in running vents to the back seats? Kind of like how a suburban would do it. I would like to run vents at the feet or sides of the back seat. I understand I would have to probably add a second fan, but does anyone have an idea on how it can be done? or has this thought been pondered before?
I would also like to up the output from the dash vents. I have been told I can take my fan and have it rebuilt with twice the kick to it (it needs to be rebuilt anyway) at a local electric motor shop.
My thoughts have me running small vents along under the console as there is room that can be moved and manipulated. Any suggestions? Also where would I put the fan, maybe in the trunk, hooked up to a backup battery? I am making my car VERY custom when it comes to things like this so any thoughts in this realm really help.
Let me know what you think,
James

You could re-route the ducts that blow at your knees from the center console through the center console through a couple holes in the back.
