Modern Day Look
Modern Day Look
One of the best memories I have from high school was of a 1986 V6 trim Firebird. I got laid in that car, I hit the gravel roads and went camping in that car. Sadly I traded it for a 2007 Scion tC.
The tC grew on me and eventually fell in love. A quick little car with lots of "umph". Tragedy struck and she's now dead. Good news... I'm back in the saddle of a 1985 Firebird 305 V8. I'm picking her up today!
Now with the back story out of the way I'm really looking forward to making this car something that can rival the newer model "retro" production cars. I see these punks driving around thinking they're in a "classic" car and it irks me to no end. When it came to the tC, bolt ons were prominent and an easy modification to stand out from the rest of the pack so I'm determined to do the same with the Bird.
I wanted to start of with some body work. She's dirty but no damage or rust. I've been eye balling some body kits but I have only been able to find one style that, in all honesty, makes me sick.

So I'm here for thoughts, opinions, and direction. I started this account back when I had my first Bird and now I actually want to use it so I appreciate all input and suggestions.
