So I just finished my 350 swap in my 90' firebird. I had wrecked the front end so they are mismatched colors. Hood from yellow Formula and Fenders from a red Trans-Am. We have come to call it the Transformulabird lol. Anyway just wanting to get some ideas for paint jobs. I was thinking all black with some ghosted racing stripes. What do yu guys think??

 

All Black looks sick. Just keep that color.

 

Stay with the black.

 

Dark blue metallic. or Black.

 

If your keeping the wheels than definitely black.

Not a formula hood. Looks like a chopped up trans am hood since it has vents. Get a real formula hood with power buldge and get tid of the spoiler for a areo spoiler. Black it out, lower it down and some torq thrust 2 wheels.

 

Sorry didn't mean to put formula. I don't like the formula hoods, and the aero spoilers are ugly as hell IMO.

 

Just like it is with new black paint oh ya.

 

I say paint it black. If you do ghost stripes do not go overboard and do them right so that only seen if in the right light.
I think black with some ghost work on the hood only. With what you have I almost think less might be better.

 

I kinda dig the Mad Max look right now LOL. I say do it in all black and forget the stripes.
