Would makes the Best Wiper Blades?

I have an 87 IROC. Can't find replacements for the original arms anymore (used to be an Anco 18-19) so I am looking for the best arm/blade assembly. I bought Anco winter blades (in VT in winter a lot) and they don't work well at all. The major problem is that the washer fluid won't hit the window due to the aerodynamic shape of the blade. I don't want to go with winter (enclosed) blade because of this anymore.
Thanks for any advice.

As cheesy as they are, I like the Rally double wipers. They are the only wipers that will actually touch my windshield when I'm chugging on the thruway at 70.

I work in an auto parts store so i get asked this question a lot. it seems to me that Bosch makes some great wiper blades that work well and last fairly longer than other blades.

I hate to say it, but I've never been satisfied with anything other than OEM wiper blades. I had anco ones that scratched my windshield :-(. I tried Bosch Micro Edge Fancy Dancy blades on my wife's car and they didn't touch the glass as smoothly as the OEM ones, plus they didn't last any longer.

My problem is that I have to buy whole blades... I made the mistake of tossing my original blades when I bought the anco ones. Lo and behold, the replacement BLADES that GM sells for 92 Camaros do not accept the replacement INSERTS they sell for 92 Camaros. The inserts presumably fit the original blades, but I don't have those any more. The new blades wouldn't fit any inserts the dealer had (the parts guy brought out a bunch of inserts and we test-fit them all). So I wind up buying new blades about twice a year.

I also like OEM, I've had far too many that just chatter across the window and I've noticed that it's not the blades but how you use them and take care of them. I little alcohol wipe brings back the flex to the blades. I do wish the previous owner would have replaced his blades at least once. I don't like how I've got a huge scratch in the windshield where the blade had started to fall off. I can't believe I actually bought the car off of him with the blade in that kind of condition. Should have taken a hint on how the guy spends his money )

I also love the Bosch ones.. I used to go thru blades every year; these Bosch ones have lasted 3!

Besides the alcohol trick, there's another. Take a new sharp single-edged razor blade, like the kind you'd use in a gasket or window scraper. Hold it at an angle to your rubber wiper blade, and drag it across the blade. It will scratch off all the old hardened rubber that makes your blades chatter, and restores some pliability to the rubber.
