subframe connectors?

Hey, I'm looking to purchase subframe connectors for my 91 RS, does anybody sell them for less than 275-300 bucks. Preferably bolt on is what I'm looking for, with added welding. I've gone on Summittracing, and ebay directed me there. Any where else that might be cheaper? Thanks.

Re: subframe connectors?

I used Spohn they go in real nice, installation looks clean, and work well. They are only $200 but you will have to weld them in...

Jegster bolt ons.

$179.00 cash money. Work great on my race-only car. For a street car I'd highly recommend welding after bolting on. Here's the link.

Re: subframe connectors?

I would suggest weld-ons as you are going to weld them anyway and they are typically cheaper than bolt-ons.

Re: subframe connectors?

Another bump for spohn weld in connectors. I have had there connectors on my car for about 3 months now and I love them. They really stiffened the car up and my dash doesn't creak anymore. I assume it will be even tighter once the passenger side intermediate tube is installed. The aftermarket exhaust system that is on the car is currently inhibiting its installation. I really can't hold that against the connectors though since the car currently has a true duel 3" from the headers back. Just something to keep in mind depending on how your car is setup.

Installation was fairly straight foward. You use the LCA bolt to locate the rear of the SFC and you clamp the front edge parallel to the pinch weld while you weld it in place.

True 3" dual exhaust! Can I get a picture please? I have 2-2.5 to a single 3" and I thought there was not much more room. I would like to see how you did it.
