Polished Alloy Dash Overlays...
I was just thinking, (sorry no pics
) I have the wooden dash overlays at the moment... It would be pretty easy to get an aluminium look going which I think would look wicked.
I've been down the carbon fibre route, only the film, but it looks the part, prob is that our interiors are so dark anyway it needs a lift.
What do you guys reckon?

I almost made some a couple years ago when I worked in a metal polishing plant. I decided against it because I could only imagine what the police report would say when I told the cop that I couldn't see the oncoming car because my polished aluminum dash board reflected the sun into my face.

I agree w/ ya. I have a '78 T/A and love the "swirl-polished" look of the dash plate. I think it would look tough in a 3rdgen. Also, I have not experienced any adverse effects in regards to sunlight on the dash.
