Yeah they ll fit right in place, I put a set in my 89, the only thing though is if you have a split bench like I do and seat bench is a single they just won't connect at the bottom but they will still fit and still operate with no problem. Other than that it will fit perfect.

Oh sorry I don't mean to sound confusioning I mean the bench part won't connect at the bottom the lower back seats are a direct swap so you won't have a problem. Well basically the 3rd and 4th gen seats are a direct swap so it won't be a problem.

Dacuma,
when you say they wont connect at the bottom, do you mean the two bolts or the velcro thats holds the two together???

I just put a set of Leather seats from a 96 Camaro SS in my 86 Trans Am last night.
I had the split rear seats originally in the T/A and the new leather back seats are one piece. They bolt right in, but I have that little bar for the split seats on the hump that is in the way. I'll have pics of them installed on my site this weekend.
also, the driver seat is power and the connectors were different (my original seat was power as well) so I just wired them straight for right now, will add connectors later.

zupman,
Hey its just like zepher said, they ll bolt right in but that little t bar at the hump won't connect. But not to worry the seats will still work like your old ones. You should get those seats it will make a big different in confort and style. It looks really sharp. I ll try to get pics of my interior this weekend also.
