You can get a OEM or GM from Classic for $23.00, no decal,and no glue.

I have one, really like it, although I thought the cutting around the edges could of been a little better. And trying to get the glue to stick around some of the cut-outs in the hood was somewhat tough, and I used plenty of glue.

Those are not OE.... just a square of black fiberglass looking insulation.

I'd like to see what these look like too. I'm not crazy about the gluing in part though. I wonder if it would be posible to put it in using factory clips.

How hard is it to remove the hood pad on 86 without destroying the pad and can you take off the round plastic pad holder without destroying them I am getting ready to paint my 86 LT1 IROC Z thank you

They come off easily enough,just be careful with the pins.They are available if you break any of them.
