Theater lighting in a 3rd gen??

Theater lighting in a 3rd gen??

My friends 96 SS has theater lighting and I really like it. how could I make mine do the same??

Theatre lighting is when the you shut the door, the lights slowly fade out instead of just turning off.

You gotta buy a capacitor of some kind and put it inline to your door switch..

I believe some companies make them for that purpose.
Oh well not mucho help.

You can do one of two things:

1) Go to the dealer and buy the part, modify your system, and install it.

2) Go to a rice rocket shop and look through the catalogs. They'll have someting.

Also, JC Whitney sells that stuff too, but I've never used them, so I don't know of their quality.

my friends got a mid 90s pontiac grand am, and it has that feature. you could buy the part for one of those
