Actually I did paint the needles. I took off the needles & sanding (w/ sand paper obviously) the back of them down. Then I got a silver paint marker from an arts store & painted only the rear of the needles. The prism effect takes over the illumination in the gauge cluster. It was quite easy & it adds an awesome affect to it.

Thanx for the compiments bro, that stereo is a bit much but hell it kicks *** . Needless to say it hits so hard to the point that I new a new CD player, it makes mine skip like crazy at half volume. Oh well, that's the price I must pay.

I used to be in the group of people that thought that when my CD player skipped wneh I was bassin that it was because it was shaking it. I was wrong, I later found out that this is caused by your head unit not getting enough power. try getting a bigger alternator and I bet it stops skipping.

I don't know if I need a high amp alternator. B/c I replaced it about 3 months ago w/ a 110 amp alternator plus I have a 1 fared CAP & a second battery that is a Yellow top Optima. Right now I don't have the funds to get a new alternator, but I'll take it to the stereo shop & see what they say about it. Thanx for the info guys.
