I hear ya man, my I was trying to get them for my 85 Firechicken but they told me that it wouldnt work because prior to 86 gauges were not backlit. See the overlay kit relies on this so that you can actually see something at night, if you were to install an ovelay kit on your gauges, it might fit but its visibility at night would really suck.

Hey check this out, Ryan told me that he is almost done w/ the 82-85 F-body overlays, so you are in luck w/ the white faced overlays. They are supposed to be around $70, not including the GP discount. Hope that made you happy. If you need any more info just e-mail me & if you wanna join in on the GP then let me know as well. Here is Ryan's web site address: http://members.aol.com/rmacewen1/index.html

1985 WS6 Trans AM
glass T-tops
bone stock sloth of an engine LG4
T-5 tranny. thank god, i couldnt stand an LG4 auto.
Plans for an LT-1 or LT-4,
also plans for dual flowmaster exaust.

Got a corvette when i was 16, paid for it myself, screwed the engine up (idiot light didnt work, and i trusted the guy when he said he just changed the oil), and it turned into a project car.
now my TA is my daily driver. not a bad one, but it needs to be faster.
