Third gen body lines, are they supposed to a staight line front to back
My question is simple I guess, body a Camaro which needed some major body work. And the rear end had been hit, but when I picked it up, it looked like only mild collision, which pushed in both rear quarters about 1/2 a inch, buckling them, on the body section. So I cut out both quarters, and pulled as much as I could straight, but the body line that runs front to back does not line up perfectly at the rear of the quarter panel. I was wondering is this normal, or was she hit harder than I thought. Everything opens and works good. hatch everything,
See pic below, and how the string runs front to back but at the rear of the quarter panel, it doesnt line up
