Window Seals in door

I am new to Camaros. I've recently picked one up pretty cheap and it's been in storage for a number of years. The most annoying problem this car has is that the windows rattle from side to side and make a horrible noise. All but maybe 10 percent of the rubber that holds the window stable inside of the door is missing.

Anybody know where I cam pick this stuff up? Also could use new seals at the front side (closest to the engine) of each window where it has the hard plastic piece that extends upwards slightly. Hope you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks,

Gruveb

the weatherstripping (rubber around door and on roof rail) I got from a1automotive off ebay (search for camaro 82) and it should bring up most of the parts for camaros. I'm very pleased with the quality. You should also be able to find the triangle seals on ebay, mostly used, but if they're from thirdgenparts they should be in good shape. also, for the rattling windows, take off the door pannel (look for posts in this forum for instructions, I don't want to type them again ) and adjust the 3 window guides at the top of the door to get rid of as much play as possible (replace them if you can). I hope this helps, if you need any more help, don't hesitate to ask, someone here probably knows at least one answer. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the tips. I'm sure they'll be a big help.

I have the same problem with the triangles. How do you take those off to put the new ones on? Right now in ohio, the average temp is about 20, and it gets really cold with all that air blowing right into your face!! Thanks alot.

If I remember right, those triangle pieces are part of the window track. I think it is held in by 2 bolts inside the door.

two 10mm nuts holds it in at top, and one 10mm bolt down low on door facing inside car, cant miss it big washer on it

whole front track assembly comes out with it right out top of door with glass rolled down all the way, turn it just right and it comes right out of the door
