Water in Trunk
Water in Trunk
In the "trunk" of my 84, there is always water, or it is really damp. It is even worse when it rains. It was so bad last week, that there was about an inch of ice standing in the bottom. Also anything that I put in the drivers side compartment gets completly soaked. What could be wrong? Thanks
In addition, if you have a rear spoiler, check to see that water isn't seeping in around the mounting holes. Some times water builds up, causes rust, and kills the rubber seal that was in place. Best bet is a little black Permatex. Worked for me.

In the well there is a vent that sometimes doesn't work. I'd use a screw driver to make sure the darn thing drains like it's suposed to then repair your hatch weatherstriping.
