Needing a New Radiator Support Assembly
Re: Needing a New Radiator Support Assembly
Radiator Support? I thought I'd be needing that too. Unless you need an aftermarket one (if there are such things), or it's not fixable, I wouldn't get a new one. You'd have to weld it in. Pretty sure you can find one at a junkyard. I looked online, couldn't find one.
Funny story actually, I was jacking up my camaro when I first got it. And I had no idea where to jack it up.. Ended up jacking it up under the radiator support. Turns out I bent the radiator support and squished the radiator. Ended up pulling that, took a hammer and wacked away at the support. Soon after, it was back to being somewhat straight and the new radiator fit in.
So yeah, in case you bent it, just whack away at it with a metal tube and hammer. Just be careful not to damage the AC Condenser, (I bent a few fins, but my AC is out of the car for now).
