Third Gen Doors

Okay I know that the third gen doors are known for sagging. Usually I have been told it is the bushings or the hinges need to be replaced. Well thats great, I can do that but how do I tell which it is? Should I just lift on the door and see if there is play in there; how much should there be? Do the hinges actually bend downward causing the doors to sag? I just got my car repained and I don't want to have huge scraps all over the door sills.

Thanks Josh

I don't think anything bends that allows the door to sag, I think it's more the hole the hinge sits in gets out of round. I have seen how to fix that on second gen, but I'm not sure on third gen.

Humm okay, in one of my books they talk about the hinges going bad but they don't say how to tell the differnce between the bushing and the hing. If you come across anything please drop me a line.
