Well, my brother and I got our spoilers in for our cars. His is an 89 RS,mine is a 91.We took my bro's old spoiler off, covered the old holes, sanded and primed the rear decklid. We set the new high rise spoiler on to see what it would look like, but was somewhat disappointed by the fit. The bottom of each fin that attaches to the decklid have rounded edges,so it's not a flush fit. Looks like we are going to have to sand the bottoms flat for it to sit right. I looked at my spoiler, and it looks the same way.Yeah.it's a only a minor problem, but one that still requires some work to fit nice.Just thought I'd share this with all those who ordered one. Who knows, could just be these two spoilers

Aside from changing the mounting posts "rounded corner" to a sharper, 90-degree fit, what's your impression of the quality. Is it strong and worthwhile -- or flimsy.

Also, did you get one with the built-in light? How/where is it mounted?

I like it.I think it could be a little less flimsy on the underside, though. I didn't get the one with the light.I have a 91,so I have the third light on the inside of my hatch. But overall,I think it was worth saving the extra dollars compared to other places.

Would the Hi-Rise Spoiler work on a T/A?
