how can i find out where they belong on the door? I don't want to just guess, and i don't know of a book that will tell me. It's an 89 iroc ,so i know they go at the back of the door. All the decals are going back now that it has paint. THANKS

Cant help you on the location. BUt I can give you some tips.
Mist the area the stick is going to be installed on with a mix of water and soap. That way it slides around to your liking. Then you can use your fingers or a small squegee(spelling?) to get all the bubbles out

Yes, DEFFINITELY use water when placing the decals. If not, then, wherever you stick it, is where it goes, it could be lobsided and everything, and there isn't a thing you could do about it.
