Paint Prep?

The front end of my car needs to be painted all the plastic parts including the ground effects. How much would it cost to paint just this part to match the rest of the car, I just want something that looks good not show car quality. Also my drivers side door needs to be matched. How much of the prep work can I do, I have never done any painting or preping of cars.

Reasonably speaking, asking for a quote online is going to be neither helpful, nor accurate. Especially from a verbal description.
And you can do as much of the prep as you feel you're capable of doing, but if you've never done it before, then I wouldn't suggest learning on plastic parts. They're the hardest to get right.
A decent shop could probably do it for in the neighborhood of $400, but like I said, it might not be an accurate estimate.
Try just taking it into some shops and asking for an estimate. Most places will do that for free, but if they want to charge, just move on to the next shop. There's plenty of them out there.
