Power door lock doesn't lock all the way...

Driver's side - it closes until you can't see any orange, but in order to be locked I have to push it another 1/2 inch closed...how big a problem is this?

Ram Heavy Duty clutch
Edelbrock TES (Jet-hot coated)
Catco cat
Edelbrock 3" Cat-back
Pioneer DEH-P77
Dual .50 caliber machine guns just under ground effects

Coming:
KYB shocks
Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace
South Side Machine subframe connectors

When your buddy reaches for a 10-pound sledge and says "I think we're gonna have to modify the floor pan, okay?" the answer is NO.

I had the same problem with both doors. I simply removed the door panel, then cleaned with WD-40 until the lock mechanism functioned properly, then I coated everything liberally with white grease. While you're in there, do the power windows too.

I agree with the lubing of the rods and mechanism suggestions. I recently did mine. Not that I was having any problems, just for "preventive maintenence". Also check that the rods are still in their plastic guides as well.
