NEED help on the leather case that holds T-tops in place(nice rhyme)

I have a 92' camaro w/ tan interior and its in mint condition but one problem. The leather case that holds the t- tops in back has some grey spray paint residue on it and it looks hideous. What can i do to fix the problem. I dont want to use any chemical that could damage the leather so help!!!!!

I agree! specifically,I would use paint thinner,with some saddle soap and water nearby to quikly lather it on and clean away whatevers left after absorbing the old paint with a swill towel,then wipe with fresh water,dry again and use an armor-all or anything specifically made for leather.

another option is to leave it in the house!isn't that thing a PITA anyways? seeing the fourthgens stowing option inspired me to lay my T-tops in the back seat or on the deck folded up in a grey navy blanket. those four "securing straps" really aren't necessary unless your running in a slolom event of some sort,their own wieght keeps them in place during normal driving.

im not familier with the 4thgen stowing options, but for the thirdgen, those straps are a must especially if you take corners and have to stop quick. those things will slide around easily. its just safer.
