INTERIOR OUT. what to do?

i am pulling my int out in the next month. and i was planning on putting a cage so i take it that this is the best time to do so. and i want to put sound proof down. should i buy the spray on or put down dynamat? just curious. how hard is it to paint a cage? and what color should i paint it. and while this is going on i should put in SFC's also right? just making sure.

Personally, I would use the spray on. I love the sound-deadening properties of Dynamat, but I really hate the weight factor. I have a mere 16 sq feet of Dynamat in my trunk and I think it's too heavy. If it was a truck or an import or anything other than a "performance" car, I wouldn't give a crap about the weight, but there you have it.

Painting a cage is only a little harder than painting a car, since tubular surfaces are a bit more challenging to paint without runs. I would paint it with the same paint used on the car's exterior, but that's me.

Be sure and take some pictures at various stages. You'll thank yourself later when you look back at them a while from now.

Use B-Quiet. MUCH cheaper than Dynomat, but nearly identical to it.
Its what I am going to put in my car when I change the interior out.
