The one-piece headlight conversion......need info

Ok, I've heard several people talking about changing their 2-piece Camaro headlights, and swapping in 1-piece ones. One person even posted a pic, but it was really grainy. Can anyone tell me about this? For starters, is it the 80's Monte LS headlights you use, or 90+ Chevy c/k? How do they mount in, etc? Is there any pictures, a website, or tech article pertaining to this? I've included the best pic I've been able to find. TIA

I think they use late 80s/early 90s Celebrity headlights. Not the truck headlights.

I dont know why anyone would want one piece headlights thats one of the things that make our cars look agressive is the staggered headlights

If someone happens to have a pic of what it looks like, I'd love to see it. I've never heard of that conversion.

most of those are from a former member named flynlow92rs....IIRC he sold the car awhile back, but running a search on his name will give you threads with pics in it

also here is his cardomain page 1992 Chevrolet Camaro - Sam's Chevrolet "FLYNLOW"

One piece headlight kit....

This is one of the mods that I have planned for further down the road. The first one I remember seeing about 10 or so years ago was transplanted from a cadillac; so I'm glad to see there's an Honest Charlie kit.

Hey 92 (Real Slow) RS: Some of us happen to like the sleek, European look for our cars. I know you didn't mean to tell us to that we 'MUST' build our cars to please you or to your own personal liking; but posts like yours don't appear to be very helpful or tactful. One of my favorite Camaro's on this board is tpiroc (Nick's) SS conversion, tpiroc . It's a very svelt look that would go perfectly with the one piece headlights. Look at the pic's posted by Camaroguy18- they sure seem to look sleek AND aggresive.

I'm rebadging my IROC over to an SS-Interceptor and the one piece will look very appropriate on it.

I did it a little while ago using celebrity headlights. Why? because I like the looks and it's a subtle change that some people don't notice right away.

I think it looks pretty neat. But I guess it depends on the overall look of the car. It looks good on Cartmans car.

LOL that's one of the best quotes I have seen in a long time.

I will eventually be doing this to my Camaro as well. Looks like the Celebrity lights work/fit the best.

One piece/projector version...

Thanks to everyone who posted pic's here. I must say, for me, I'll have to track down the one with the projector outer light. I love driving 'briskly' at night on empty back-roads, so I'd assume that the projector version will probably be the brightest. Nitro

Re: aquiring headlight info...

Re: appropriate response......
Take a look at the initial inquiry; You'll see the person asked after support information, not weather you or I like one piece headlights. That's why your post to giving your unasked 'opinion' is rediculious- not because you do or do not 'like' something.

Also, this board is not for flaming, so if you have to put forth another unasked and unapreciated statement, send it private and leave this post uncluttered. Thanks, Nitro
