3rd brake light out?

Transmission: Auto, 5 speed
3rd brake light out?
On my 91 rs, the brake light isn't working. The light is on the window, inside the car. I've replaced the bulb, checked the wiring, (all of my fuses are good). Any suggestions on what to try?
And if someone doesn't mind telling me the correct bulb i should use? I've tried plenty of different ones.

Check were the hatch closes on the contacts were the pull down switch is,might not be making contact.
