I couldn't find the general topic section to post this. I been looking to buy my 1st camaro. The issue is I don't know if I should go with RS, z28 or iroc? My previous car was a 2006 Nissan Maxima (AT) 3.5L V6. hp 265 @ 5800 rpm torque 255 @ 4400 rpm. It had headers, intake, adv timing, underdrive pully, spacers, kinetix manifold.

Had to get rid of the maxima since I got water in the engine with CAI ... Damn you intake.. hahaha. I am willing to pay 2k to 2.5k for the car. Right now I'm looking at a 92 RS 5.0 tbi AUTO. I know that this RS is not going to a monster on the track but the owner kept really good car of the car. Interior looks almost new and he got a paint job a few years back. The other is a 88 IROC 305 H.O. MT paint is faded and interior is fair. Money wise both cars are about the same price. If I go with the RS will I lose more money trying to upgrade suspension, engine, etc.. Or stick with the ugly ducking and fix her up my self? Or will it be a wash since both cars I will need to upgrade the suspension, rebuild engine, etc because they are old cars..?
