New wheels.....what size?

I'm looking to get new wheels for my car. I have the 16" ones now, but I'm wondering if it would be better to get 17" or 18" wheels, considering the fact that I want to lower the car about 1-2". Any suggestions or pics?

Pretty damn smart with cars for 17!
91 Camaro RS, 305 TBI
92 Lumina, 275,000mi and humping!
No mods yet...Hopefully:
Convert to dual-cat with headers and Borla catback exhaust.
350hp 305TBI I dont care what you say!!!!
RAM air hood & Z28 wing.
ABS system.
Positraction rearend with rear disc brakes.
Rebuilt front and rearend suspension with polygraphite bushings.
Strutbrace.
Rollbar.
Subframe connecters.

I suggest looking through the post at pictures and if you see one you like you can e-mail them to get the Wheel&Tire size. I've seen both and it all depends really the car, color, wheels, and on the individual. But since you asked I would go 17" because it's not overkill and also remember the tires will probably be more expensive for 18" than 17"
