Can you weld on crome exhaust tips?

Can 3 1/2" chrome exhaust tips be welded onto Borla's Stainless steel exhaust system? I plan to get rid of the dual round angle cut exhaust tips that came with the cat back system.

LOL Formula. I had the same chrome tips when I used to have Flowmaster exhaust. The tips will not rust as long as you keep them clean. I just wanted to know if these can be welded onto stainless steel. I have a 480V electric welder. Will it work?
