T-Tops.... you know the problem...
Alright, My car's tops are leaking, I replaced the gaskets a year or so ago, but it still leaks. I've had everyone on the east coast look at it, and they all think that I'm nuts, no one can find or trace this leak. Here's what I think it is, I think that the T bar in the middle is leaking, because when we put on the new gaskets, my dad and I thought that we should adjust the tops so that they lock in as tight as possible, it cracked and creaked alittle, but we contributed it to "settling." Does anyone have a sketch of how this thing is designed? I'm going to get the tops replaced again, but I don't want to spend the money just to have the same problem. Should I take up that middle bar and glue it down. The water leaks in through the support beam that runs across the top of the windshield, and I know that it isn't the windshield. Any help with where the water comes from and how I can stop it is appreciated, I'm at my limit with these things...
thanks,
Mike
