overhead console question
does anybody know where to get a lens for the domelight on the console it is discontinued from gm

My best idea would be to go to a junk yard or salvage yard and find one. Not sure, but around here a salvage yard wouldnt just sell a lense, they'd make you buy the whole thing for it. You might get lucky though, a normal person would probably not want to sell the lense by itself either. Good luck.
Try Andys, Coreys or Gord Chants. They usually have a good selection of third gen parts. I've gotten some great stuff from Andys including, 240 kph speedo,xenon dash lights and the optional rear view mirror with the map lights. The place can be a gold mind for parts most of the time. I live just down the road from you in Courtland.

thanks, I'll have to make a trip over and take a look and see what i can find, around here we have Woodstock Auto Recyclers and Ace Auto, both of which have about 5-10 thirdgens each but they're all really older ones with none of the goodies.
