T-tops
T-tops
I have a 92 Camaro with Lexan T-tops that are in bad condition.
1. Can glass tops replace the Lexan without modification?
2. Has anyone tried painting the Lexan tops? Would there be any special preparation of the surface to accept paint?

I can only answer question #1. Yes you can replace Lexan T-tops with Glass T-tops with zero modification.

Restoring, refinishing lexan t tops
Here are instructions for restoring lexan t tops. I want to do the same thing. You don't need to switch to glass, as all the imperfections can be sanded and buffed away (super fine grit, read instructions in thread). Good luck!
